Dr Sayeeda Bilkis, having her nick name Shampa, is an USA resident Bangladeshi specialist doctor and there she is serving since 2015 as a Clinical Assistant Professor at McGovern Medical School, Houston, under University of Texas, as an Endocrinologist (Specialization in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism). 

Sayeeda Bilkis did her SSC in 1988 and HSC in 1990 from Mymensing Girls Cadet College, Mymensing, Bangladesh. She did her M.B.B.S (Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) during 1993-1997 from Shanghai Medical University, Shanghai, China .Completed her internship in Mymensing Medical College during 1997-1998 .She was qualified to serve as a Resident Physician, Department of Internal Medicine in Hong King under the Hospital Authority, HongKong during 2002-2005. Later on she moved to USA, completed her postgraduate training in Internal Medicine in 2008. She became board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and obtained MD degree, she was awarded the distinguished honor as F A C P (Fellowship of the American College of Physicians) in 2012. She completed her fellowship training in Endocrinology in 2015. She is also board certified endocrinologist. She was also awarded the distinguished honour as F A C E (Fellowship of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology) in 2020.

She got full scholarship from the Ministry of Education, P.R. China, to study Medicine and Surgery in Shanghai Medical University, China. During her study in Shanghai Medical University from 1993 to 1997, she stood FIRST all the way in yearly examinations among the foreign students and was positioned in the TOP TEN in the merit list among all students in Shanghai Medical University and received “OUTSTANDING STUDENT AWARD” every year. She is by far the only non-Chinese doctor who got the opportunity to serve as Resident Physician in the history HongKong. She got distinction marks and outstanding performances while qualifying for all subsequent professional degrees / certifications/ awards She served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, in Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Odessa, Texas from 2008 to 2012 she did number of noticeable RESEARCH WORKS during that period. Sayeeda Bilkis has got a huge passion for MUSIC since her early life. To her, music is an equally important world compared to her successful professional and family life. She was a popular face as a singer in her school and college life for her quality of voice. During her period of graduation in Shanghai Medical University , she happened to be very popular as well , as a Singer and that she used to sing Chinese Songs with local artists regularly in number of TV CHANNELS in China ( both in Shanghai and Beijing) .

Won the FIRST PRIZE at a national level competition in China as broadcasted in CCTV, Beijing, in 1997 in ‘Foreigners singing Chinese Song competition’. In 1998, she participated in an exclusive program in BTV where she sang number of songs and gave an interview. Same year, she was invited to participate in the most popular TV program “ ITTADI “ where she sang both Bangladeshi as well as Chinese songs followed by an interview.  

Dr Sayeeda Bilkis is the Managing Director of “GAAN JANALA LTD.”
